Read the passage below and answer the following questions.
David, the famous ( ) player, didn’t always plan to become a musician. The road to success has been both a sad and a happy one.
David was born in a small English village. His father was often unemployed, so the family was poor. When he was seven, David almost died of a serious lung disease. His condition improved after seven months in hospital but his lungs remained weak. To strengthen them the doctor suggested that he learn an instrument that required blowing or sucking.
